Breast cancer symptoms
Breast cancer has few subjective symptoms at an early stage, but as cancer progresses, the following symptoms begin to appear. If you notice any of these symptoms, it is important to see a medical institution with a specialist and have the necessary tests.
lump
It is a lump that you feel when you touch it with your hands. It is said that 90% of the lumps in the mammary gland are caused not only by breast cancer but also by benign diseases.
Breast cancer lumps are hard and do not move much, while benign lumps are elastic and tend to move, but it is dangerous to make a self-judgment based on the feel alone. s
Breast pain
Usually, during menstruation, the breasts tend to be tense and painful, but care should be taken if there is long-term pain regardless of the menstrual cycle.
Secretions from the nipple
The nipples (nipples) may produce brownish-brown secretions that look like blood.
Sores on the nipple and areola
Early breast cancer is possible if you have eczema or sores on your nipples or areola that cause you to scab, or if you have repeated sores.
Breast skin changes
The skin on the breast may be dimple-like. It may also be red and swollen, with prominent pores and orange peel-like irregularities.
Nipple depression
Changes such as extreme dents or twitching of the nipple may occur.
Swelling/lump under the armpit
Swelling and lumps may appear under the armpits. Breast cancer occurs when it spreads to the lymph nodes under the arm, the axillary lymph nodes.
